Christiane Northrup’s Campaign Contributions to Trump

Written by Julian Walker

We were recently sent a tip to look at the Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings of campaign contributions by Dr. Christiane Northrup.

Anyone can access these records. Here’s what we saw:

One hundred contributions were made to Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), and WINRED (a GOP fundraising platform endorsed by the Republican National Committee) in September 2020 alone.

Another 276 contributions were made between June and August 2020. In May, there were three contributions.

During those highly active four months, Northrup often made several contributions in a single day. Amounts range from less than $2 to around $200.

In some cases, a week of donations totaled roughly $2,000; in other weeks, they added up to around $200.

Prior to these right-leaning contributions, all of Northrup’s previous donations were to Democrat, progressive, and independent organizations or candidates, including pro-choice organizations NARAL and Emily’s List.

Northrup donated 20 times, totaling $9,750, to liberal groups and candidates between 2001-2018 before contributing 379 times this year to right-leaning groups, totaling nearly $9,000.

Prior to the election, we had not seen the doctor voice open support for the Trump ticket. Rather, political references in Northrup’s “Great Awakening” video series tended toward the coy stance that political affiliation doesn’t matter. Rather, she cited being a single issue voter (on vaccines) was essential, along, of course with really “feeling the energy” of the candidate.

Dr, Northrup also claims the “Great Awakening” title started during a quarantine that she deems to be part of an elaborate dark conspiracy against the sovereign freedoms of Americans and is only coincidentally related to QAnon.

Here’s the truly curious thing: parallel to this Trump contribution frenzy, Northrup actively soliciting and offered thanks for “love offerings” in the captions of her Great Awakening video series via a direct PayPal link, as can be seen below.

We see the first solicitation to her 482K Facebook followers and 137K Instagram followers during the week of June 20, when she donated over $1,600; over $2,000 dropped into Trump’s coffers by the time she posted the July 23 gratitude message above.

Here’s a question for Dr. Northrup’s followers:

Did you know that the love offerings you sent to support Northrup may have been channeled directly to the campaign to re-elect Donald Trump, and if you didn’t know at the time, how do you feel about that now?
