You can contact us via the form below. Please note that we receive a ton of messages and cannot guarantee a reply. Also note that we are not therapists or counselors. For professional support for yourself or someone you know who has been harmed by conspirituality or QAnon, we recommend Rachel Bernstein. We have posted some good recovery materials here.

At this point, we are solely responsible for moderating our social channels. We appreciate vigorous and critical discussion of the content we present, and we’re grateful for it. It helps us learn.

That said, in order to preserve time and emotional energy, and to foster safer spaces for ourselves and our listenership, we do not tolerate the following on our channels:

  • Ad-hominem attacks against ourselves or others.

  • Trolling, including concern trolling.

  • Sealioning (“incessant, bad-faith invitations to engage in debate”) and link-dumping.

  • Harassment, i.e. continual and repetitive combative commenting.

  • Racism, classism, anti-trans rhetoric, or ableism.

  • Victim-blaming.

  • COVID-denialism, anti-vax disinformation, defamation of public health officials.

Any activity like this is subject to deletion and banning, without warning.

We’re especially grateful for the feedback we receive on inclusivity and positionality. We respect and value the role that accountability culture has played in bringing awareness and action in movements like #metoo and anti-racism. However, we will not respond to “accountability abuse,” in which a call-out circumvents direct feedback, becomes contagious, ad hominem and defamatory, and escalates to the point that the provoking issue is obscured or forgotten. These actions too easily corrode social justice movements from within. Instead of enabling these tactics, we commit to course-correcting through regular, good-faith conversation.

Thanks for listening!
